The world's smallest GPS signal receiver is as small as a child's fingernail [Copy link]

A New Zealand company called Recon recently announced that they have developed the world's smallest GPS navigation signal receiver, which is only the size of a child's fingernail.

A spokesman for Recon said that many satellite navigation equipment manufacturers have shown interest in the miniature receiver. In the future, this receiver may be installed in mobile phones, watches, car navigation and PC systems, thereby achieving the popularization of GPS reception systems.

According to Recon's data, the miniature navigation signal receiver they developed is a plug-and-play device that can greatly reduce the operating steps of end users and the size of related equipment.

Although the size of the message receiver is very small, it has extremely high sensitivity and can operate normally even in a city with tall buildings. At present, Recon is also preparing to further improve the sensitivity of this GPS signal receiver in order to gain a larger market.
