An urgent basic question? [Copy link]

Can any senior tell me what chip to use when the logic voltage does not match?
I want to use the output of a counter 74ls191 as the address, but its high potential
output power supply is 5v. And the address of my eprom is 12 volts.
What chip can convert the two voltages? Urgent question. Thank you!

Even when programming, only one leg of the EPROM uses 12V, and that is not the address line.  Details Published on 2008-3-6 11:57

EPROM uses 12V voltage only when programming. You can drive it directly with TTL level without worry.
