This is last year’s post, for those in need to refer to.
Evaluation
The assessment consists of approximately 100 questions, a mixture of personality tests and practical ability tests (about 20 questions, basically logical reasoning questions).
written examination
All positions took the test at the same time. I took Paper A, which was a 90-minute written hardware test. The question types included single-choice, multiple-choice, fill-in-the-blank, short answer and calculation questions, with a total of 100 points.
The questions mainly involve knowledge points: communication protocols (SPI, IIC, UART, etc.), switching power supplies, signal integrity, discrete component parameter performance (MOS, BJT, PN junction, etc.). I personally feel that the above four aspects are the big ones, and the others are tests of knowledge of analog electronics, digital electronics, Layout, and some devices (ADC, DDR, etc.). I have the impression that the short-answer questions test the DCM mode of the switching power supply, and the calculation questions are about differential op amps.
Generally speaking, it focuses more on engineering applications, and switching power supply and signal integrity account for a large proportion.
One side - half an hour
Self-introduction + a challenging project
The most challenging issue in the project
Power Tree Architecture
FPGA Power Consumption
Dig deeper into the power supply network and give another solution. Is this solution feasible?
What parameters should be considered when selecting BOOST chips?
Switching power supply output ripple
What parameters will DC-DC test?
Ripple measurement method and precautions
BOOST Inductor Selection - How to Choose the Inductance Value
Which parameters should be considered when selecting LDO?
What high-speed signals have you come into contact with? Do you understand the basics?
How to select ADC
What products of DJI have you heard of? How is your experience?
What offers have you received so far? Can you come for an internship in advance?
Second interview - half an hour
There were three interviewers in this interview, one HR and two technical ones. The HR did not speak, and the two technical interviewers asked questions one after another.
The first interviewer
How to do the boost part in the project——Why use this solution
Has the boost circuit considered loop stability?
What parameters will be measured in the boost circuit?
I asked again how to test the power ripple
Considerations for IIC design
Why do you want to come to DJI?
How do you consider the choice of industry?
What do you consider when choosing companies, industries and products?
Your own and your parents' requirements for the work location
The second interviewer
Why do electronic watches have two styles: square dials and round dials?
Why are the dials of mechanical watches round?
Why are cheaper bracelets mostly square? Round ones are more expensive.
Why did Didi and shared bikes suddenly develop in recent years (taxis and bicycles have been around for a long time)?
I have seen some relatively sophisticated hardware in my life and study - what is the difficulty of designing it?
In the past, mobile phones could replace batteries, but why can’t we replace batteries now? What technologies make replacement difficult?
Summarize
Overall, the interview focuses on projects, and basically tests basic knowledge through projects. So everyone should dig deep into their own projects to prepare.
