In inverters, soft switching technology is mainly used to reduce switching losses, improve efficiency and reduce electromagnetic interference. Although reducing switching frequency is also one of the goals, the broader application of soft switching technology is to optimize the switching process so that it is carried out at zero voltage or zero current, thereby reducing losses and stress.
