TMC4671 servo motor control board test BLDC [Copy link]

TMC4671 servo motor control board test BLDC
  1. Hardware connection
Basic parameters of the BLDC motor to be tested:
    Model: 57BL75S10-230TF7
    Voltage: 24V
    Rated power: 100W
    Rated torque: 0.32NM
    Rated torque: 3000rpm
    Number of pole pairs: 2
Motor coil and Hall connection control board as shown:
  2. Connect the host computer to
the RTMI debugger and connect it to the PC. Open TMCL-IDE and automatically recognize the device. Click Connect
  3. Configure
TMCL-IDE to recognize the TMC4671 development board, double-click Wizard Pool , select the development board, and enter the configuration:

Since the test motor only has a Hall sensor, check the configuration according to the actual situation and click Next:

    Select the motor parameters:

Click Turn motor with default Open Loop setting in the upper right corner. At this time, the motor starts to rotate slowly. Adjust the Hall parameters according to the page prompts so that the curve in the upper figure matches the curve in the lower right corner
  4. Motor testing
In the next page, select the motor mode as torque mode and the sensor as Hall sensor, as shown below:
Set PID_TORQUE_TARGET, click Start, the motor starts to rotate at high speed, and the current is stable at about 470mA. When the PID_TORQUE_TARGET value is reduced to less than 200, the motor stops, and the larger the value, the higher the speed, and the motor reaches the maximum speed when it exceeds 400.
The above is a simple configuration to drive a brushless motor with Hall.
