[Re-evaluation of Renesas FPB_RA6E2 evaluation board] e2studio installation pitfalls (2/10) [Copy link]

This post was last edited by Black House White Witch on 2024-2-2 22:44

e2studio has been installed, and I can compile an empty file, but I can't generate a burning file...

Is there anyone who has tested it and can sponsor a .hex or other format burning file?

------------------- 20240202 Update ---------------------

The problem of not being able to generate .hex files was found, because an option was not checked during installation:

The result is that there are no GNU-related options in the blue box in the figure below, resulting in the inability to produce a .hex file.

After reinstalling it was solved anyway.

By the way, I would like to share the official tutorial I found, the installation and use of e2studio:

CPK-RA6M4 Quick Start Guide (renesas.com)

The documentation for this model development board is too simple and not very friendly to novices.

It seems that you need to set it up. You can use MDK to write it. Select MDK when generating the project.   Details Published on 2024-2-2 11:20

You have created a BLINK project. Just play around with it.

The main problem is that I can't find a binary file that can be burned. I saw an online tutorial saying that I need to open a setting, but I can't find this setting option... I'll post a picture later  Details Published on 2024-2-2 11:08
