What is the difference between the FOC control algorithm of BLDC and the PSPM DC permanent magnet synchronous motor?

A BLDC motor is a three-phase motor, while a PSPM motor can be a three-phase or multi-phase motor. Secondly, the FOC algorithm is an advanced control algorithm for controlling permanent magnet synchronous motors. It achieves precise torque control by matching the motor's magnetic field with the rotor position. The control of BLDC motors usually uses a Hall sensor-based method to control the motor's torque and speed by detecting the rotor position.
