[Digi-Key Follow me Issue 1] Task 4: Implementing the positioning function [Copy link]

To realize the positioning function, you need to use the GNSS module for positioning. First, import the micropyGPS library into pico

, make sure the GNSS module is in an open air environment, and the small blue light flashes. Run the code position.py (998 Bytes, downloads: 0) , wait for a while, and the running results are as follows

Let me digress a little. Actually, I imported the micropyGPS library into pico in Mu Editor at the beginning. I could see micropyGPS.py in the pico file, but I still got an error when running the main program. It was probably because micropyGPS was not detected (?) (I don’t remember clearly), so I turned to Thonny in anger. When I confirmed the language selection during the final installation, I found that Thonny had a Raspberry Pi version that was very similar to Mu (I used Mu first, not sure which one came out first). After loading the code into pico here, micropyGPS was detected on Mu. There was light at the end of the tunnel. The SSD1306 package loaded on Mu before didn’t work well. After finding that GPS was OK here, I imported SSD1306.py into pico on Thonny, and then ran the main program for drawing the M image on Mu, and it ran successfully.
