I found that MSPM0 has some new modules? For example, EVENT [Copy link]

When I was sorting out the training videos shared by TI, the peripheral series >> MSPM0 official training: peripheral series (22 short videos) , in addition to the common peripherals, I found several MCUs that I had come into contact with before, and peripheral names that I seemed to have never seen before.

Especially EVENT. After watching the video, I roughly understand that through this module, peripherals can directly trigger peripherals without CPU intervention. In addition to this, it can also directly trigger the CPU and trigger DMA. I am surprised that EVENT is used by MCU. Have you ever played with similar modules in MCU? What do you think will be the benefits of adding such modules to your application development?

Without the MCU's intervention, it always feels like something is wrong. What if the MCU also wants to use this pin at this time? In this way, the timing is difficult to control.   Details Published on 2023-5-26 08:55

[Peripherals can directly trigger peripherals] This means that if an interrupt is generated, the screen can be turned on directly without going through the MCU?

I don't know how to use this strange peripheral.

This is the feeling. The specific estimate can only be known through actual testing. You can try it when there is a board evaluation.  Details Published on 2023-5-26 09:46

I guess there will be a priority judgment, but I don’t know the details. When there is a review, you can go and check it out if you are interested.  Details Published on 2023-5-26 09:47
