[ Infineon PSOC 62S4 PIONEER KIT Review]——DAC

  • Basic Introduction

According to the manual, the PSOC 62S4 PIONEER KIT has a 12-bit DAC with a settling time of less than 2μs, which can be driven by the DMA controller to generate user-defined waveforms. The DAC output can be a resistor ladder output (approximately linear) or a buffered output using the operational amplifier in the CTBm block.

2. Introduction to main APIs

1.DAC initialization cyhal_dac_init()

2.DAC sets the reference voltage cyhal_dac_set_reference()

3.DAC output cyhal_dac_write()

PS:

1. I looked through the data sheet but couldn't find which pins can be set as DAC output pins.

Are these okay? P10[0] - P10[7], P11[0] - P11[7], P12[0] - P12[7], P13[0] - P13[7]

P10_0, P10_1, P10_2, P10_3 failed to initialize. P10_4, P10_5, P10_6 are connected to the temperature sensor on the development board and are inconvenient to use. P10_7 is connected to the ambient light sensor on the development board and is inconvenient to use. The remaining pins are not brought out on the development board.  Details Published on 2023-4-25 14:59
