An adjustable voltage regulator circuit with 6V input and 8V output [Copy link]

I want to design an adjustable voltage regulator circuit with 6V input and 8V output. Which chip is better to use? Can I simulate it through proteus?

At least the current parameters must be known. If it is just for homework, then MC34063 is the best choice.
