Live Review: How to use the domestic 800MHz RISC-V MCU Xianji HPM6750 to control four-axis servo motors [Copy link]

After watching the live broadcast review, if you have any questions, you can post them in the thread and Guanzi will help feedback to Xianji officials for answers.

Live broadcast time: 20:00-21:00 on June 22

Live Topic: Xianji 800MHz RISC-V MCU, how to play with four-axis servo motor control

Live broadcast content:

(1) Introduction to Pioneer

(2) Introduction to HPM6000 series motor control applications (including introduction to on-chip analog peripherals, etc.)

(3) Explain the functional implementation of the four-axis servo motor control and the demo of controlling four motors (starting from 59:51 in the video)

(4) Introduce the HPM6750 display system (LCD controller), etc.

(5) Live Q&A: answering questions from netizens

Live PPT: HPMicro EEWORLD Live Deck_Final 7.4.pdf (5.06 MB, downloads: 45)

Live video:

Live Q&A:

(1) Questions answered in the audio in the video above (starting at 1:06:43 in the video)

Q1: There is a DSP in the device architecture. Can it be applied in the connection line pipeline quality inspection based on machine vision quality inspection and distinguishing the line sequence by line color?

Q2: Questions about development tools: What is the development IDE? What development tools are used? Is the tool chain free? How to do bare metal programming? Will support for vscode be provided in the future? What is the ecosystem of this chip? What development tools does it support?

Q3: Technical support related questions: What are the main applications of HPM6750? Is there a lot of information? Is it easy to get started? Are there enough examples? Is there a special forum for communication with peers?

Q4: Can you provide a reference design for the peripheral circuit that controls the motor?

Q5: Can it drive a sensory fan?

Q6: Is it possible to make a digital power supply?

(2) Text Q&A content in the live broadcast room

Question content Text Q&A
How long does it take for 6750 to calculate the current loop of FOC for motor control? What is the maximum speed per minute of the controlled motor? This will be discussed in the subsequent video (see live video)
What is the simulation amplitude? Determined by VREFH, maximum 3.3V
Question: As a servo motor control MCU, does HPM6790 have a hardware dead zone control unit? Yes, it can do minimum 2.5ns stepping
Is the chip powered by a single power supply? 3.3V single power supply
Does the adc have an external reference? have
Is there a test board for the four-axis servo? There is a demo board, but it is not for sale to the public.
What is the resolution and refresh rate? Are there any special requirements for the display model? Maximum support 1366×768, 60fps; RGB interface
Does it support DDR memory? Not supported. Only sdram
Does the 4 motors + screen run on a single core or dual core? Single core running
Motor drive runs AI, quite interesting Motor drive is just one application. If there is a binocular camera in the peripherals and high computing power, it is not impossible to deal with AI.
In fact, compared with other existing RISCs, it has a higher main frequency, a CAN port, and optimized PWM Not only that, there are CANFD, Gigabit, .....
