What is the GPIO level status of Espressif ESP8266? [Copy link]

Except XPD_DCDC, all other GPIOs can be configured as high level.

The default level state of GPIO after power-on is: except for 6 SDIO+GPIO4+GPIO5+GPIO16, the remaining GPIOs have built-in pull-up resistors. To pull down the GPIO, an external pull-down or inverting circuit is required.

Note: The external voltage level of GPIO cannot be 5V. GPIO4/5 cannot be pulled up with an external 1M resistor. Please use a 100K resistor instead.
