I have always had a wish in my heart, to have a yard of my own in the countryside, to build a two-story villa, to live a relatively comfortable life, and to have my own career.

Ever since I resigned from my job in Nanjing, I have been working towards this goal.

Some people like to buy a house in the city, work, and live a fast-paced life, while others like to build their own house in the countryside and live a comfortable life. Both are the same, but everyone has different pursuits. I choose a comfortable life.

First, I came back and chose a suitable place. There happened to be an idle yard, so I communicated with the owner and reached a deal. Our rural yard is relatively cheap, covering an area of 1 mu and costing about 100,000 yuan.

I chose a house type online, which has a terrace (effect picture). I also checked a lot of information and finally chose the currently popular heavy steel house, with autoclaved aerated panels on the exterior. I won’t go into details, but you can check it out online if you are interested.

The building area is 12 meters from east to west and 9 meters from north to south, and the indoor layout is relatively simple.

The next step is to demolish the old house that has stood there for more than 40 years.

After half a day, the 40-year-old house was razed to the ground.

The terrain here is relatively low, so the foundation was raised more than 2 meters. Brick piers were built inside, and steel bars were placed inside.

Then backfill

After backfilling is completed, steel bars are placed and concrete is poured.

Laying the ground beam is the most important part of building a house.

After pouring the concrete, the formwork is removed.

Backfill again and then start erecting the steel structure.

The surrounding area is made of autoclaved aerated panels, and the roof is made of shapes (behind the house)

The exterior has been insulated and meshed, and the roof is waterproofed. The next step is to make water-wrapped sand. To be continued...

From the front, it looks like a three-story building, but there is no basement under the house, only the left and right sides. The left side is used as a garage, and the right side is a boiler room and a water room. Because there is no 24-hour running water in the countryside and no heating company, they were all built by themselves.

I've been following the OP's progress, haha, you're very courageous.

When trading homesteads, you should also pay attention to it, otherwise if there is a dispute, it will be troublesome:

(1) The right to use homestead land shall not be transferred separately. Any of the following transfers shall be deemed invalid:

1. Purchased by urban residents;

2. Purchase by a legal person or other organization, that is, purchase by a non-natural person;

3. The transferor has not been approved by the collective organization;

4. Transfer to persons other than members of the collective organization;

5. The transferee already has a house and does not meet the conditions for allocation of homestead land.

(II) The right to use rural residential land may be transferred, but the following conditions must be met:

1. It is agreed by the villagers' committee of the village and finally approved by the township government;

2. The transferor and the transferee are both villagers of the village;

3. The transferee has no homestead and meets the conditions for applying for homestead;

4. The right to use homestead land basically cannot be transferred separately and must be transferred together with the house.

In addition, the transferor's household registration should have been moved out of the village or belong to "one household with multiple houses or multiple rooms". If it is one household with one house, it must be clearly stated that it will no longer apply for a homestead, and there must be evidence that it has housing security, such as living with other close relatives. If the above conditions are met, then the house sale can be guaranteed to be foolproof.

This is very cool~ Awesome~~ My grandfather also left some land, but it was not big, so my dad and my uncle also used it to build a house. We hired someone to build it locally. There are four floors, one for each family, and the ground floor is used for sundries. It looks like a simple residential house.

In fact, if the countryside is good in all aspects and the transportation is convenient, I also think it is comfortable to build a house. Living in the city, I think it is more of an education issue. The education in the countryside is too different from that in the city. Oh.
