Bluetooth transmission Q&A ( provided by TI embedded field application engineer Michael Qian )
1. What are the advantages of Bluetooth 5.0 in terms of power consumption compared to Bluetooth 4.0? Currently, most mobile phones use Bluetooth 4.0. Can they connect to Bluetooth 5.0 wearable devices?
Answer: With the advent of Bluetooth 5.0, longer transmission distances and greater data throughput will be achieved.
2. Does Bluetooth 5.0 support networking? What is the communication rate?
Answer: No, networking is a separate mesh standard, independent of Bluetooth 5.0.
3. Is the TI Bluetooth protocol stack open to the public? 2. How long does it usually take to develop a project for this platform, and how much support will it provide?
Answer: TI provides software development kits, and the Bluetooth protocol stack only provides lib files. The open cycle depends on the customer's understanding of Bluetooth.
4. What suggestions are there for Bluetooth communication rate, wiring considerations, and antenna design?
A: Bluetooth can reach up to 100kbps using the high-speed transmission mode of 4.2. For information on antenna design, please visit 查看详情
5. How is the CC2650RC Bluetooth voice remote control solution currently provided by TI implemented?
A: This solution is mainly completed through private profile. For specific design details and information, please refer to 查看详情
6. CC2640R2F is suitable for Bluetooth power consumption applications. What is the standby current?
Answer: Currently CC2640R2F can achieve standby current: 1.1 RTC running, RAM/CPU retention), shutdown current: 100nA (wake up when external events occur)
7. Is there any information about CC2640R2F chip program encryption and oad encrypted transmission?
A: Currently, program encryption is not available. You can only lock the jtag. OAD encryption is not available. You can add it directly to OAD and use AES128
8. When a mobile phone is connected to a wearable device via Bluetooth, does the mobile phone act as a server or a client?
A: The mobile phone acts as the client and server, and the Bluetooth device also acts as the client and server at the same time.
9. How long does it take to pair CC2640R2F with a mobile phone?
A: It depends on the number of profiles in the design, because the phone will scan the information on your device, which takes time.
10. What is the power supply range of CC2640R2F ?
A: Wide supply voltage range Normal operating voltage: 1.8V to 3.8V External regulator mode: 1.7V to 1.95V
11. What is a reasonable broadcast interval setting when the wearable device is not paired?
Answer: 500-800MS
12. How many seconds does it take to synchronize data to the APP?
A: If the phone supports 4.2, the maximum speed is 100KBPS
13. Can CC2640 and mobile phones only connect one to one to transmit data? If there are several CC2640, how to determine which one has the highest priority and how to prevent conflicts?
Answer: Time-sharing transmission, no priority
