SM8958 series products are 8-bit single-chip microcontrollers with built-in 32K bytes of flash memory and 1K bytes of on-chip RAM. It is
a derivative of the 80C51 microcontroller family. The SM8958 PDIP package has
32 I/O ports, while the PLCC/QFP package has up to 36 I/O
ports. The on-chip 32K bytes of flash memory can be
used as both program space and data space or a mixed space of data and program.
Due to its hardware features and powerful instruction system, it
has become a controller with a very high performance-price ratio.
