How to locate the pins of LCD display? [Copy link]

Yesterday a customer asked me that they had a display screen that was reflective and did not require a backlight. As a result, there was no way to unify the pin installation position during installation. The following figure shows the effect the customer required:
This will lead to a problem. How can we ensure that the position is the same every time we weld? Manual measurement is not realistic and labor-intensive. Even if the position is measured, it may not be exactly accurate during welding. For customers with such needs, we have also designed a special metal pin, that is, a limit pin, and designed a buckle-like device at the fixed position required by the customer, as shown in the following figure:
This way, when installing, the extra pins can be stuck on the top of the PCB soldering hole, and the position is fixed, no more and no less, so that the customer's requirements can be met, and it is also much more convenient for workers when soldering.
