Is it better to learn C language or assembly language for R&D work? [Copy link]

Is it better to learn C language or assembly language for R&D work? Which language is more widely used in work? Which one will be better for future development? And which language is easier to learn?

I suggest you learn both. Don't forget that you can use assembly in C language. It is better to use assembly language to directly operate hardware.  Details Published on 2006-11-28 18:56

C language is easy to learn, but not as efficient as assembly language. It is best to learn both.
