The Cypress Semiconductor CY8CKIT-149 PSoC 4100 S Plus Prototyping Kit is an easy-to-use prototyping platform designed for the PSoC 4100 S Plus device. The PSoC 4100 S Plus device is a programmable embedded MCU. The PSoC 4100 S Plus integrates custom digital peripheral functions, memory, and an ARM Cortex-M0+ microcontroller with flexible automatic routing. The programmable digital peripheral functions of the PSoC 4100 S Plus enable high flexibility, field tuning of designs, and faster time to market. The PSoC 4100 S Plus device integrates a microcontroller, standard communication and timing peripherals, a capacitive touch sensing system, and best-in-class performance. The CY8CKIT-149 PSoC 4100 S Plus Prototyping Kit also includes the Cypress KitProg2 on-board programmer/debugger. The KitProg2 provides on-board programming, debugging, and bridging capabilities, including USB-UART and USB-I. 2[tr]Designers can use KitProg2 to program and debug the target PSoC 4100S Plus device and EZ-BLE module. The CY8CKIT-149 prototyping kit is designed with rapid prototyping in mind, allowing designers to separate the KitProg2 board from the target PSoC4100S Plus board. The PSoC 4100 S Plus device is Cypress' PSoC 4, featuring an ARM Cortex-M0+ core, up to 128 KB flash, 16 KB SRAM, 9 programmable analog blocks, 13 programmable digital blocks, and 54 general-purpose I/Os, including 24 Smart I/O. The PSoC 4100 S Plus also features Cypress' fourth-generation low-power CapSense solution. Provides a reliable, low-power CapSense solution. The CY8CKIT-149 PSoC 4100 S Plus Prototyping Kit includes Cypress' fourth-generation capacitive sensing solution. The CapSense fourth-generation capacitive sensing solution maintains high performance in noisy environments and in the presence of liquids. The CY8CKIT-149 kit enables designers to quickly evaluate and develop CapSense using two capacitive boards. One capacitive pad features three capacitive buttons, and the second pad includes a six-segment capacitance slider that enables self- and mutual-capacitance sensing of the buttons. Flexible Prototyping The CY8CKIT-149 PSoC 4100 S Plus Prototyping Kit provides easy access to all device I/Os, including the EZ-BLE Bluetooth module, an LED, and a button, in a breadboard-compatible format. The CY8CKIT-149 kit also includes an on-board programmer and debugger designed using the PSoC5LP. This design enables the CY8CKIT-149 to support industry-standard programming interfaces such as CMSIS-DAP and drag-and-drop programming.
