RC523 antenna debugging [Copy link]

1. Use VNA to measure the series equivalent parameters L, R and C of the antenna; 2. Increase the sweep range to find an intersection; 3. Increase the filter capacitance and move the intersection up. The intersection is best near the real axis and should not deviate too much; 4. Increase the series capacitance, open the circle, and move the target point clockwise; 5. Reduce the parallel capacitance and move the target point counterclockwise; 6. It is best not to ground the parallel capacitor in the matching part of the schematic diagram above, so that only one component needs to be adjusted when adjusting, while two components need to be adjusted when grounding; 7. It is best to reserve a resistor position at both ends of the antenna. The resistor is used to adjust the Q value of the antenna; 8. The filtering part can be calculated by AN149110 or manually; 9. If the antenna and other components are arranged on the same PCB, the distance between the antenna and the component should be kept at least 5mm;
