Application of PLC in Permanent Magnet Brushless DC Motor Servo System

Abstract: AC servo technology is the key technology for the development of various advanced mechatronic equipment. On this premise, a permanent magnet DC brushless motor servo control system based on Siemens S7-222PLC is introduced. The system combines Siemens 6SC610 transistor pulse width modulation inverter and 1FT5 brushless servo motor. The position loop adopts advanced pseudo-differential feedback control algorithm to perform speed and position servo control on the brushless motor and monitor it in the host computer. The experimental results show that this control scheme can achieve good control effect of permanent magnet DC brushless motor servo system at low cost. Keywords: servo system; brushless DC motor; programmable controller; pseudo-differential feedback control
