           Aiming at the serious impact of meteorological environment on highway operation, this paper proposes a highway anti-collision system based on ZigBee wireless network technology. The system is composed of a self-organizing wireless sensor network composed of vehicle-mounted ZigBee network nodes. Each node in the network uses GPS to locate itself and exchange positioning information in real time within the network; at the same time, each node uses the positioning information received from the network to calculate the distance between the adjacent nodes, driving speed and other information, thereby providing the driver with anti-collision warnings, alarms and other driving information. These functions of the system can effectively improve the operation capacity of highways in bad weather and provide an important auxiliary means to ensure the safe driving of vehicles.
