Features

LD497 Ignition ASIC


♦ LD497 is a high performance electronic ignition control circuit, used in contactless automotive electronic ignition system triggered by Hall signal.


♦ The chip drives an external NPN Darlington to control the primary coil current to meet the low power consumption energy storage requirements. The outstanding feature of LD497 is that when the coil current drops to 94% of the normal value, a slow recovery time can be preset to slowly restore the dwell angle to the normal ratio (Td/T). In this way, during low temperature rapid start, there may be only one ignition energy less than 94% of the normal value.
