DESCRIPTION
The SOC-4000 ASIC is a single-chip solution for the weighing
industry. This unique chip includes all scale hardware
functions (printer interface, A/D converter, display drivers,
keyboard controller, serial communication, embedded CPU,
updateable program, data and set up memory).
SOC-4000 provides all the hardware support for the thermal
printer (label and ticket printer). This innovative concept
enables manufacturers to eliminate risks, reduce costs and
inventory needs associated with multiple components.
The SOC-4000 is supplied with complete software support,
implementing most standard weighing functions as well as
user interface functions such as printer display, keyboard
and communication interfaces. A complete development
environment is available, enabling users to tailor and
customize the applications.
