Description
:
This is a unipolar transient voltage
suppresser series extending from 6.8 volts to 200 volts
intended for surface mount applications.
Each device comes as a “Cell” with its own heat absorbing
disks pre-bonded at high temperature. This permits
mounting on printed circuit boards that cannot provide
their own heat sinking. Each disk is silver plated and is
solderable permitting solder down attachment and solder
strap top attachment. Each unit is bi-symmetrical so
polarity can easily be reversed.

Description
: This is a glass passivated, double
diffused and rugged transient voltage suppresser
series ranging from 5.0V rated Vr to 100V. It is
available in either uni-directional or bi-directional
configurations.
The die version features nickel metalization with an
tarnish resistance gold over-plate to permit easy
bonding or soldering. The plating thickness is
controlled for optimum solder or braze metallurgy.
The cell version is available in a Type 1 configuration
with double tabs. A Type 2 configuration with
silicone edge protection protecting the edge of the
die and the die cavity between the double tabs is
also available as a custom option.
