GENERAL CATALOG
The FTA series are extremely small, highly reliable EMI fil-
ters for a wide range of frequency, and are suited for high
frequency noise and EMI control.
For this series, a feed through type ceramic capacitor with
an extremely high self-resonating frequency is soldered into
a threaded metal shell, and sealed with resin.

Soldering
to chassis
When using a soldering Type (FTA3S,56S), please use the following method.
• Recommended Solder
Use low-melting solder of which melting temperature is 165°C max.
• Recommended Method
Use reflow soldering. Avoid rapid heating/cooling, preheat to around 130°C, and then process at 220°C in the reflow
zone for 10 sec. max.
• Recommended hole size for soldering
