Features
MT7930 is a single-stage, high power factor, source-side controlled AC-to-DC LED driver chip. Using Maxic Technology's unique technology (patent applied for), only a few peripheral devices are needed to sense the electrical information of the source side, and the LED current can be accurately modulated without the need for optocouplers and secondary-side sensing devices.
MT7930 integrates power factor correction function and works in DCM (discontinuous current mode) and constant off-time mode to achieve very small total harmonic distortion current.
MT7930 also implements various protection functions, including over-current protection (OCP), over-voltage protection (OVP), short-circuit protection (SCP) and over-temperature protection (OTP), to ensure that the system works reliably.
