MT7282 Overview

Boost, buck, buck-boost high frequency PWM dimming LED constant current driver chip

Features

MT7282 is a 2.5V~40V wide input range, white light LED constant current driver chip, MT7282 can be set to buck, boost and buck-boost topology. It can achieve 10W driving capability at AC12V/DC12V input voltage.

MT7282 uses a fixed operating frequency and current mode to adjust the LED current. The system has fast transient response, stable loop and simple design.

MT7282 uses high-current detection technology, which can set the average operating current of the LED through an external resistor. The low reference voltage of 205mV effectively reduces power loss and improves efficiency. The fixed operating frequency of 450kHz minimizes external inductance, input and output capacitance.

MT7282 supports both PWM dimming and analog dimming through a single control pin.

The chip includes protection mechanisms such as overvoltage protection (OVP), overcurrent protection (OCP) and overtemperature protection (OTP) to ensure that the system works safely and reliably.
