BCT3222 is a high-performance white LED driver chip. BCT3222 uses an internal resistor to set the bias current for the 6-way LED channel, and the channel current matching is +/-1.5%. The bias current changes very little with voltage fluctuations, and the dropout voltage is very low. BCT3222 only needs a dropout voltage of 50mV to make the channel output 20MA current and meet the LED light brightness requirements.
By using a SEL pin, the BCT3222 can drive six parallel common anode or common cathode white LEDs, adjust the current value, and maintain consistent brightness.
The brightness of the LED lamp is adjusted by driving the EN pin with a pulse signal. The current can be set from 2.5mA to 20mA, and there are 8 brightness levels for users to set. The internal soft-start circuit can effectively reduce the inrush current during startup and mode conversion.
