BCT2890 is an audio amplifier chip designed for portable audio devices with built-in speakers. The bridge-tied load (BTL) structure can reduce the number of external components of the chip while providing high-quality audio reproduction. When powered by a single 5V power supply, BCT2890 can provide continuous 1.8W power (4Ω load), or 1.2W (8Ω load), with harmonic distortion less than 1%. When powered by 2.6V power supply, the chip can provide 300mW continuous power (8Ω load). This chip can also be used as an adjustable gain amplifier.
The low power mode turns off the bias voltage and op amp, reducing the quiescent current consumption to less than 10nA. The internal integrated "click" noise suppression function can effectively reduce the audio "click" noise when the power is turned on or off. The BCT2890 pin is compatible with NCP2890/LM4890 and is packaged in 9-pin AQFN (1.6mm*1.6mm).
