SHARP

The history of Sharp began when its founder, Mr. Tokuji Hayakawa, founded the metal processing industry in Tokyo in 1912. In 1915, Mr. Hayakawa invented a metal pencil called "Ever-Ready Sharp Pencil", which was very popular at the time. This is the origin of the current name and trademark of Sharp. After that, Sharp successively developed products such as Japan's first crystal radio, black and white TV, and the world's first all-transistor electronic calculator, and gradually developed into a comprehensive electronics manufacturer that produces home appliances, communication equipment, as well as solar cells, LCD panels, LEDs, LSIs and other electronic components.
