Pimoroni designs, manufactures and sells products for makers, educators and creatives. Pimoroni was founded in 2012 by Jon Williamson and Paul Beech to create a treasure trove of technology for tinkerers of all stripes. The company was founded shortly after Paul won the Raspberry Pi logo design competition. Pimoroni is supported by the Raspberry Pi community and the wider maker community and aims to make electronics more accessible and appealing to more people. The company has grown at a compound annual rate of 80% since its inception and now employs over 30 people at its headquarters in Sheffield, North England. This growth has been sustained through international sales through over 50 distributors worldwide. Pimoroni is the largest Adafruit distributor in the UK.
