The thyristor - controlled AC regulated power supply has the advantages of simple structure, stepless automatic voltage regulation, wide voltage regulation range, high stability,
small no-load loss, and small power transformer power. The disadvantage is that the output voltage is not a sine wave voltage and has many harmonic components.
The circuit is shown in the figure. When the power supply voltage changes in the range of 190 to 250V, the output voltage of this voltage regulator can be maintained
at about 220V.
Debugging requirements: Connect the load Rh, when the input voltage U- is 220V (can be adjusted with the help of a voltage regulator), adjust
the potentiometer RPz to make the voltage at points A and B UAB - 3.5V, then adjust RPl to make the load The voltage on the load is 220V, then
increase the voltage of Ul to 250V to see if the voltage on the load is 220V. If it is too high or too low, just adjust the RPi appropriately
