The basic functions of a digital signal processing circuit (DSP) are shown in the figure. The optical disc signal read by the laser head is relatively weak.
It is synthesized and pre-amplified in the servo preamplifier circuit to make the RF signal have sufficient amplitude, and then sent to the digital signal processing circuit for digital signal
extraction, EFM demodulation, and CIRC. Error correction processing such as decoding and deinterleaving, which also includes spindle servo processing. After the RF
signal is digitally processed, the signal is converted into a serial data signal, a serial clock signal and an LR separated clock signal for output, and is sent to the AV decoding circuit for decoding, and finally
outputs audio and video signals.
