Circuit Working Principle
The ozone sterilizer circuit consists of a power supply circuit, an oscillator and an ozone generator circuit, as shown in Figure 9-103.

The power circuit consists of timer Q, capacitors Cl, C2, resistor Rl, Zener diode VS and rectifier diode VD.
Oscillator circuits include low-frequency oscillators and high-frequency oscillators. The low-frequency oscillator circuit is composed of Dl, D2, resistors R3, R4, and capacitor C inside the NAND gate integrated circuit IC (D1-D4); the high-frequency oscillator is composed of NAND gates D3, D4 and resistors R5, R6, Composed of capacitor C4.
The ozone generator circuit consists of resistor R7, transistor V, step-up transformer T and ozone tube VG.
Turn on the timer Q, and after the AC 220V voltage is stepped down by Cl, stabilized by VS, rectified by VD and filtered by C2, a +6V working voltage is generated, which is supplied to the IC and ozone generator circuit.
After the low-frequency oscillator oscillates, the high-frequency oscillator is pulse-modulated. The modulated pulse signal is added to the base of V through R7, so that V is intermittently conductive, and a pulse high voltage is generated on the secondary winding of T. VG is at high Ozone is produced under the action of high frequency voltage.
When the timer expires, the control contact of Q is disconnected and the working power supply of the whole machine is disconnected.
Component selection
Rl-R7 uses 1/4W metal film resistors or carbon film resistors.
Cl selects a CBB capacitor with a withstand voltage of 450V; C2 selects an aluminum electrolytic capacitor with a withstand voltage of 16V; C3 selects a monolithic capacitor; C4 selects a high-frequency ceramic capacitor or a small high-frequency CBB capacitor.
VD uses 1N4007 silicon rectifier diode.
VS uses lW, 6.8V silicon Zener diodes, such as 1N4736 and other models.
V selects DD03 silicon NPN transistor.
IC selects CD401l or CC4011 four-NAND gate integrated circuit.
T selects Dahua universal sealed high-voltage transformer.
VG uses T90 bipolar ozone tube.
Q chooses a mechanical timer of 0-6Omin.
