The figure below shows the automatic voltage adjustment circuit of a compound-excited DC motor. This circuit is mainly used for 40kW, 230V, and the voltage change rate can reach 2. 5%. In the figure, BQ is the shunt winding, and CQ is the series winding external resistor Rw connected in series to the shunt winding circuit. Adjust the potentiometer RP to change the generator output voltage setting value.
