Electronic combination lock [Copy link]

 The password lock consists of three parts: a 6V dry battery, an electric control board, and an electromagnetic relay lock. The password lock keyboard operation and the corresponding internal actions are as follows.
1.4.1 Password setting When the safe door is open, press the SET key to start, enter a 10-digit password consisting of numbers 0 to 9, and then press the SET key to confirm. At this time, the microcontroller sends the password received from port C to the SDA data line of the EEPROM in serial mode through the RB4 port, and stores it in 10 consecutive units.
1.4.2 Open the door Press the ON key to wake up the microcontroller from the "sleep" state and enter the normal working state, enter the password in sequence; (the key interval should be less than 10s), press the ENT key to confirm, after receiving the ENT signal, the microcontroller reads the set password from the EEPROM and compares it with the entered password. If the same, the relay is energized for 3s for the tenant to open the safe door, and then the relay is released, and the microcontroller enters the "sleep" working mode. If the wrong password is entered three times, the system will be punished by self-locking for 5 minutes. During this period, the keyboard is blocked, the alarm, and the buzzer sound 10 times in a row.
1.4.3 Close the door Press the ON key to wake up the MCU, then press the OFF key, the MCU will check the door opening password again, if it is correct, the relay will be energized for 3s to close the safety door, then the relay will be released, and the MCU will automatically enter the "sleep" state.
1.4.4 Other function keys: 1) The C key is defined as the clear key. The clear key can clear the wrong password entered before pressing ENT.
2) The R key is defined as the reset key. It can clear the deadlock program and reset the system. This key is invalid during the self-locking period.

I have done one before, which is similar to this one. It is a graduation project. There is no sleep function, and the password can be set from 0 to 8 digits (it can be longer if necessary, as long as the memory is large enough).
