Previously, we calculated the s-domain system function of the double-T notch filter and plotted the zero-pole distribution in the s-domain according to the function. However, it is difficult for us to form an intuitive impression of the system based on the zero-pole distribution alone.
Here, for easier understanding, we will draw the amplitude-frequency characteristic curve of the system according to the zero-pole distribution diagram by hand calculation or measurement.
This calculation is not very complicated, but it is recommended that students deduce the whole process by themselves and calculate it by hand. This will trigger thinking about its principles and connections and increase understanding of its essence. There is a huge difference between watching others walk and walking by yourself.
I recommend that hardware engineers or students often do some s-domain system function analysis and draw corresponding curves for some simple analog circuits, which can help them understand the system very deeply.

Although most of the modern analysis has been handed over to computers, most of the principles of S-domain analysis contained in the original author's analysis must be mastered. The consequence of blindly relying on simulation software may be a loss of direction in design analysis.
