With the belief that everything can be tested, we will test batteries this time…10 types of No. 5 batteries and 14 types of No. 7 batteries will be tested together. Which one is the king of durability?
There is a saying at the beginning, although battery evaluation is simple, liberal arts students may not be able to understand it... I think there is no need to embarrass myself, just take the result!
The evaluation will compare the performance of the batteries through three experiments↓

Battery endurance test
The test is carried out according to the national standard experimental conditions, but the actual application conditions will be different, so we have added an experiment that is more in line with the actual conditions——The small train runs in circles.

Battery capacity test
Battery capacity refers to how much power the battery can store. In theory, the larger the battery capacity, the longer the working time. The purpose of the experiment is to accurately measure the battery capacity.
Battery capacity is generally calculated in ampere-hours, that is, discharge current (constant current) I×discharge time (hours) T.
Experimental equipment: ITECH capacitance tester
Reference standard: "GB 8897.2-2013 Primary Battery" Part 2 Dimensions and Electrical Performance Requirements Chapter 6.1.1.
Actual measurement results of battery capacity↓
Batteries with a capacity of more than 2.000Ah include: White Elephant, Changhong, Shuanglu, Super, Duracell, Amazon Baseus! Battery discharge time test Referring to the national standard, we use real-time discharge measurement to test the battery discharge performance. Experimental equipment: DCF-1 battery discharge measurement table 344411 During the discharge of the battery, the voltage U will gradually decrease with the passage of time. The lowest cut-off voltage is 0.9V. At this voltage, the battery has stopped working and the output current is basically 0.
Reference standard: "GB 8897.2-2013 Primary Battery"
Actual test results of battery discharge time↓
The batteries with discharge time exceeding 6 hours are: Amazon Baseus, Beacon, Speedmaster, White Elephant, Double Deer, and Duracell.
Combining the above two experiments, the battery capacity is greater than 2.0Ah, discharge time greater than 6 hours, there are 5 batteries that successfully entered the recommended candidate list: White Elephant, Double Deer, Super, Duracell, Amazon Baseus. Pictures speak louder than words↓
Battery endurance test
The above are all test values under theoretical conditions. Who is the king of endurance in actual use? Come, this is a test that allows you to intuitively feel the battery endurance and durability. Please select the 5 batteries below for a "Train Running Circle Showdown"!
Experimental equipment: toy train, tape measure, laser digital display electronic counter
Experimental method: Put new batteries into the train, and let it run in circles. The one with the most laps wins

Which battery can make the remote control last longer?
The discharge time of the battery is different under different discharge currents. That is to say, in a competition between batteries A and B, battery A may run longer than battery B when used as a train, but battery B may last longer than battery A when used as a remote control~
The maximum working current of the remote control is only 200mA, while the working current of the train is 350mA. Due to the different currents I, the amount of electricity consumed in the battery is different: Q=I×I×R, the amount of electricity allocated to the device by the total battery energy will change, and the actual working time is directly related to the working current of the device.
As the most battery-reliant household gadget, it is necessary to recommend a longest-lasting battery for the remote control.

The quiescent current of the remote control is 0.5uA, and the working current is 100-200mA. Based on this, we can estimate the power consumption of a week:
Assuming that you press the button 50 times a day, each time for 1 second, in a week it will use about 100x50x7x1/3600 mAh =10mAh,
200x50x7x1/3600 mAh =20mAh, a quiescent current of 0.5uA is used in a week
0.5/1000x24x7=0.084mAh, the two numbers add up to approximately 11mAh-21mAh.
Battery capacity/weekly power consumption of remote control = number of weeks of use
Take two Shuanglu batteries as an example: 906mAh*2=1812mAh
1812/21=86 weeks/52=1.6 years

The age of the battery affects the test. The temperature conditions must be consistent. The battery current must be limited to the range allowed by the battery.

2AH 能跑6小时,也就是 0.34A,这玩具还是比较省电的,
你拿个遙控车(不是玩具,是航模店卖的那种)试试,金霸王,GP超霸,劲量,永备,都是5号,统统半小时不到就蔫巴了,其他品牌在香港买不到,所以测试不了,
另外也做过短路实验,以头发粗细的铜线把正负极连起来,这四种电池都能把铜线烧红,金霸王最厉害。
