socfpge pin multiplexing issue [Copy link]

This post was last edited by Shi Yu on 2018-1-15 12:12 I want to use the serial port 1 of the lark board. I added a node in DTS Then after starting Linux, the display driver has been loaded, and ttyS1 appears under dev Now I use ttyS1 to send and receive data, but I find that I can only send data but not receive data. There is no problem with the application. I used another development board and the application was normal. Now I suspect that the C23 pin is not used as UART1. I knew how to allocate IO multiplexing in the kernel without using DTB before. How do I allocate IO after using DTB? I didn’t find the code to initialize the IO multiplexing function in DTS

DTB does not care about the pin multiplexing configuration, which is initialized in the preloader.  Details Published on 2018-2-3 21:03

Yes, this is different from the pure ARM that we did before. In the past, we initialized the pins in the DTB.  Details Published on 2018-2-5 08:51
