Solution to the 5509 programming error "Failed to get BP addr" [Copy link]

When burning the program to TI's 5509a, I encountered the problem of "Failed to get BP addr". The cause and solution of the problem are as follows:

1. The installation program for burning the plug-in is C5000C6000-2[1].20-SA-to-TI-FLASHBURN271.EXE.

2. Cause of the error

After starting FlashBurn in ccs, Program->Download FBTC was not executed.

3. Solution

(1) In the pop-up interface after running FlashBurn, there is a FBTC Program File in the lower part, which requires the path of the FBTC55.out file to be entered, as shown in the figure below. (2) After completing the previous step, Download FBTC, as shown in the figure below.

After completing the previous step, you will see that the icon in the Target System box is displayed as "Connected". Then you can follow the normal steps to burn the program!
