Now most cars are running on CAN, and there will still be a certain market in the future. It won't be outdated.   Details Published on 2024-9-27 18:42

Although the CAN bus faces some challenges, its advantages in real-time and reliability still make it maintain its important position in many automotive systems.

Some communications seem to be optimized based on CAN, and it feels like all technologies are being optimized.

You mean CAN FD and CAN XL, both are members of the CAN family.  Details Published on 2024-9-25 16:06

This thing is not outdated, it mainly depends on the application. Isn't the serial port still in use?

CAN will not become obsolete and will be used with other buses. Multi-channel CAN is still used in domain controllers.

Currently, CAN for chassis, body and power can meet the needs.

Compared with CAN, CAN FD has much worse anti-interference performance.

There is absolutely no such thing as time. You have to believe that all kinds of buses have their place of application.

How can it be outdated? It is still the most widely used standard, and its extended functions are still being upgraded, so it is still full of vitality.

I agree with the above statement. For example, although the A2B bus can transmit control and audio signals, CAN is still retained on the controller.
