How to learn C++? Recommended by predecessors [Copy link]

Recommended learning order: "C++ Primer" --> "Effective C++" --> "More Effective C++" --> "Introduction to Algorithms" --> "STL Source Code Analysis" --> "C++ Templates: The Complete Guide"

Latest reply

I think it would be much better to learn object-oriented programming in C first and then learn C++. For example, you can learn the Linux kernel first.   Details Published on 2024-9-10 08:48

Our predecessors were not deceiving us. This path is necessary, but it still has its twists and turns.

Thumbs up...

Previous recommendations: If you have difficulty, you should relieve the pressure. It is recommended to open this book "C++ Getting Started" while studying. The source code can be copied and practiced immediately, saving time and greatly helping beginners improve their progress.

Oh, I checked... So the author is the same one as "Principal Wei who loves programming"? It really starts from scratch...  Details Published on 2024-8-23 15:16

Oh, I checked...

Is it the book written by the same author as “Principal Wei who loves programming”?

As expected, I started from scratch...

If you have no basic knowledge, any simple book will do. The thinner the better.
