It turns out that Raspberry Pi can also be used in this way: fortune telling [Copy link]

According to IT Home, robot maker and blogger Kevin McAleer recently used Raspberry Pi to make a fortune-telling machine. This fortune-telling machine combines cyber style and retro design, a bit like the 19th century scene objects in "Red Dead Redemption 2" encountering a modern thermal paper printer.

From a series of posts by Kevin McAleer, we learned that the fortune-telling machine is mainly composed of a voice module and a thermal paper module, in which the Raspberry Pi is stored. The blogger made a "fancy" box and then embedded his Raspberry Pi 4 into the box. Users can press the huge red button on the surface of the box to print out a random fortune report.

As for the voice module, this fortune-telling machine has an alien head-style model. After outputting the transportation report, the built-in speaker in the alien head will "sing" the relevant fortune results. Kevin McAleer revealed that he used a Unix-based framework called Fortune to create the relevant linkage solution, but the relevant voice module part is still in 3D printing, so it will take some time for friends to see the complete fortune-telling machine.

I think there are a lot of people speculating on this concept, there will always be fools who buy it and try it out, this way at least they can get their money back  Details Published on 2024-5-16 00:16

I don't have a chance to test it. The key is that I don't believe in fortune-telling.  Details Published on 2024-5-13 09:49
