AT32WB415 Review] 6. Using batteries to power the RTC [Copy link]

Last time I talked about RTC, today I had some time, so I looked at the schematic diagram and data sheet:

It can be seen that pin 43 is the VBAT pin. I went to the development board to find it, and when I was looking for pin 43 on the development board, I saw the VBAT pin on the right socket.

Since I am usually lazy and don't have button batteries, I found a battery clip. I have one Nanfu battery and one Huatai battery, and the other Huatai battery has been leaking for a long time.

So I built a temporary circuit and used the DEMO program.

Run it:

It can be seen that the backup battery is still useful after stopping for a few minutes.

Of course, a comprehensive evaluation will take a long time. I am just trying to prove that VBAT is useful.

RTC generally uses button batteries, which do not take up space and have a long life.

Haha, I guess the original poster used dry batteries because he didn't have button batteries.  Details Published on 2022-9-13 09:12
