The basic part explains the purpose and significance of failure analysis of electronic components, the failure analysis procedure, failure analysis technology, and the main instruments and tools for failure analysis; the case part is divided into nine chapters according to the categories of components, namely integrated circuits, microwave devices, hybrid integrated circuits, discrete devices, resistors and capacitors, relays and connectors, vacuum devices, plate circuits and other devices, with a total of 138 typical failure analysis cases.
