There is an open document. First, move the cursor to the specified position to prepare to insert the code. Then go to another document to look at the code. When you return to this document that has not been closed, the cursor will jump to the first line. To continue editing, you have to find the place where you just wrote the code. It is inconvenient to repeat this operation.

This is not a selection on the file list. You click on the Hierarchy tree on the left and jump to the file module definition on the right, which is reasonable.

For example, you can write multiple modules in a .v file, and when you click the hierarchical module, the code will be displayed to locate the location of each definition. Otherwise, how can you jump?

Just like what you said, I just tried it in the Source tab, and the cursor position did not change when switching files. I just checked that the logic of vivado and TD is the same and they also jump to the front of the module. I didn't understand it and was careless. Thanks for the reminder.
