[Hongmeng Development Board Neptune] Building the HarmonyOS development environment is the hardest part [Copy link]

As an operating system for the Internet of Everything, the key point of HarmonyOS is cross-platform. I was the first to come into contact with Huawei LiteOS, and building liteOS does not require a Linux system. HarmonyOS development needs to be developed on Linux, which was very depressing at first, but once you bite the bullet and cross this threshold, you will see a new world and a bright future.

To do a good job, you must first sharpen your tools. First, prepare the development tools:

1. Install VMware

VMware version: VMware-workstation-full-16.1.0-17198959

Second, download
the VMware image. All the development environment configurations have been set up, and there is no need to do IDE configuration.

Step 3: VMware opens and decompresses the virtual machine. Log in as Pegasus and password is pegasus

Enter the code directory cd harmonyos/openharmony; start compiling: ./build.py wifiiot

OK Success
