Vote and read public opinion: Which 15th Anniversary DIY Electronic Toolbox should you choose? [Copy link]

Voting validity period: From now until August 5

The community's 15th anniversary DIY electronic toolbox suggestion collection activity has ended. Engineers in the forum have provided a lot of suggestions. How to choose? The community has initially selected and combined some netizens' suggestions and set up a vote to see the intentions of forum members. Forum members who have passed by,don't give up your voting rights and choosea tool DIY project you are looking forward to.

Details of netizens suggestions:

Started Class

1. Wireless multi-channel serial port extender ( the proposer and leader is RCSN . wuqipan , tagetage , well_kim , chenlie20015568 also mentioned this tool in their suggestions )

The upper computer tool includes a PC tool that can configure WiFi hotspots and IP and multi-channel serial port configuration, as well as a Bluetooth applet on the mobile phone. The lower computer is a chip with integrated WiFi/ble, which has multiple usart serial ports. In this way, the upper and lower computers can form a wireless multi-channel serial port, eliminating the need for multiple USB to TTL modules during the debugging process, and only one wireless multi-channel serial port is needed. 2. Tool software DFlash ( suggested and led by qwerghf )

The software is specially used for burning DAPLink. It supports automatic identification of all DAPLinks, and supports HID version of CMSIS DAP V1 and WINUSB version of CMSIS DAP V2. It supports parsing of various burning files, and no longer needs to consider format conversion. In order to make it more convenient for users to use, it provides lua interface extension, and users can call the interface to realize the functions they need, and it has online functions. Power supply

3. DC power converter ( suggested by cruelfox )

Use 5.5/2.1 DC jack input, connect to 12V~24V output switching power adapter for power supply; internal first-stage buck step-down, then LDO regulated output, low ripple. Output voltage is controlled by MCU DAC, in 0.01V steps. Current sampling conversion (divided into gears), real-time display of current, and can also be connected to an oscilloscope to view current change waveform. Overcurrent protection can be set.

The purpose is to obtain an adjustable voltage from an easily available power adapter, and at the same time be able to measure the current, and a power supply with small ripple for circuit experiments. It does not pursue high power and is not used as a charger.

4. Portable digital display adjustable power supply (suggested by tagetage )

You can use the current gallium nitride charger as the main power source, and then make an adjustable digital display. The current gallium nitride has a PPS output, and the maximum output voltage is 20V, which is enough for engineers to debug.

Test and Measurement

5. Portable oscilloscope ( suggested by: annysky2012 wuqipan Shoes sumoon_yao fireworks bloom andylx mocro zhangjt0713 sylar^z )

Just set the target parameters to the commonly used range to reduce costs and facilitate promotion. tziang : Find a high-end open source oscilloscope to play with. If you have 20 people, I will start the car.

6. Portable battery internal resistance tester ( suggested by qinshaojing )

7. Portable Network Analyzer ( suggested by Eric Cheng )

8. Logic Analyzer ( suggested by sylar^z )

Welding

9. High frequency soldering iron (suggested by lidonglei1, woxinanlian , qzy457 )

Constant temperature, fast heating, automatic power off, small and exquisite, portable!

10. Automatic soldering station plus ( suggested by: UUC )

Can the automatic soldering station be integrated with a cooling fan and lighting with adjustable gears, or a magnifying glass on it, which may be more convenient. zhangjt0713 : Open source smart soldering station for friends to do it themselves

11.USB soldering iron ( suggested by tobot )

The size of a pen, rechargeable, can easily repair a few boards

12. Portable hot air station suggested by: gaon

Integration

13. Programmable engineer portable tool box (suggested by dcexpert )

The entry-level version is recommended to include easy-to-use programmable digital power supply, multimeter, etc.

14. Dark Toolbox (suggested by strong161 )

1. USB interface connected to computer, 2. With multiple serial port (including 485 and 232) monitoring function, supporting PC-side software, with general communication protocol analysis and custom protocol settings. 3. With CAN and other current bus monitoring functions, supporting PC-side software, with general communication protocol analysis and custom protocol settings, 4. It is best to have logic analysis function, because the software implementation of the previous two items is essentially logic analysis in data analysis.

15. Electrician's "desk calendar" (suggested by sipower )

There is a desk calendar on the table, and you can use the APP to add reminders

It has the following functions: oscilloscope, multimeter, USB hub , digital power supply, USB to serial port , card reader, desk lamp

16. Integrated tool box ( suggested by hxm3000 )

The functions should include: 1. A display screen, which can be small; 2. Adjustable voltage output and current display; the power can be small, equivalent to the power of a mobile phone charger, such as 10W~50W; 3. A measuring terminal should be left, which can be used as a simple small oscilloscope to measure the waveform of the circuit board; 4. It can be powered by a power bank; 5. The voltage and current output can drive the electric iron, which can be used for short-term on-site processing.

17. An integrated miniaturized device that integrates a multi-function oscilloscope, logic analyzer, and signal generator ( suggested by zkyc )

In addition, the most important thing about the equipment is that it has MP3 playback function, a high-end decoding chip or a small speaker, so that you can listen to music while working.

other

18. Belief Scale ( suggested by Azuma Shimoe )

I have to mention the Faith Ruler. I also have one. I got it from a forum event. It is an engineering ruler from KEYSIGHT. However, my idea is that this ruler contains metal material, and then some magnetic tools are customized to suck it up. If you are interested, everyone can contribute together, and each person can put a package that they like on it. It is super commemorative.

19. A very reasonable storage box ( suggested by chrisrh and jtfan )

It can store commonly used soldering irons and other thin items, as well as large items such as multimeters. It can also hold various components, making it easy to find them at a glance, just like a girl's makeup box. Once opened, it will make you stunned and shocked! It's awesome!

20. DIY commonly used small modules ( suggested by zhangjt0713 )

For example, RGB full-color lights, temperature and humidity modules, MESH sensors, etc. are made into small modules, and engineers who like to do it can use them directly.

21. Practical STLINK ( suggested by ddllxxrr )

22. Commemorative Breadboard (suggested by Daniel Wu )

23. CAN and LIN tools , including host computer (suggested by 1399866558 )

24. Magnifying glass with lighting function ( suggested by eew_TcHlm1 )

Once you have an idea, you need to make an implementation plan and move forward step by step according to the plan. The boss is pushing you too hard and sometimes you lose your composure.   Details Published on 2021-9-12 09:47

I think some option products are just an idea. If they are voted on, who will realize this product?

I thought I could choose multiple options. I want to choose 3.9..11..12. They look simple and convenient. I can carry them with me to test and build application scenarios. They are all good. Let's take them one by one.

I choose to be pragmatic. After I have the sample, what remains is improvement and optimization. Is the product far away?

You know, having a product idea is one thing, but being able to realize it is another...
