, both are portable between hosts and both use the same display driver, providing portability to a range of displays.

nano-gui only provides display functionality, while micro-gui supports 2-5 button user input, or joystick style navigation buttons. With the TTGO T-Display, a very cheap WiFi I/O device can be built. Because of the complexity of the I/O functionality and the high cost of RAM usage, nano-gui is preferred if you do not need user input.

The image below shows MicroGUI running on a Pi Pico, using a 320*240 IL9341 display. Buttons navigate between widgets.
